CALL FOR ABSTRACTS 

INSTRUCTIONS TO AUTHORS

Opening of the online submission: 18 April 2017
Deadline for submission: 8th August, midnight.

Please read carefully the following conditions and instructions:

Terms & Conditions

  • Submission of an abstract constitutes a commitment by the author(s) to present it, if selected. Authors will be notified of the Scientific Committee’s decision by end of August 2017 via e-mail.
  • Selected authors will have to register to the Conference (early bird price until 15 September 2017).
  • Selected abstract may be published in the ATTR 2017 Abstracts book in ORPHANET JOURNAL OF RARE DISEASE (indexed in PUBMED) Please click here for the guidelines.
  • If your abstract is selected for presentation and you are subsequently unable to deliver the presentation or any change about the presenting author, you must contact the organisers as soon as possible to notify the abstract will not be presented.
  • After notification of selection, instructions for submission will be communicated to the author.
  • Please note that you must submit your final communication, since it will not be possible to correct your submission on line. No modification can be made after the final validation.

 

Instructions and guidelines


1- The authors may indicate their preference regarding the presentation type: oral, oral or poster / poster only.
 All abstracts will be reviewed by the Scientific Committee and confirmed for either oral or poster presentation.

 

2- Only abstracts submitted in English will be reviewed

 

3- Presentation:

Title: The abstract title should be in initial capital/lower case, not all capitals.
Exemple: The perfect exemple of title of an abstract

Authors: Authors’ names should be supplied in the surname-first format and should be in initial capital/lower case, not all capitals.

Institutional affiliations should be indicated with superscript numbers as the exemple given.

Exemple: « Pierre Legrand1, Pierre Legrand2/ 1Institution, 2Institution »

The body of the abstract must not exceed 2 500 characters.

Abstracts must not use printing enhancements such as fonts, italics, underlining, etc except for italics for foreign words or scientific names where necessary. References should be included in the body of the abstract if necessary.


4- Abstracts should be entered as plain text into the corresponding electronic fields. They must not include tables, figures or special characters. All abbreviations should be extrapolated on their first use.
 

5- Abstracts should be thoroughly checked for spelling and grammar before submission.
