As threats rapidly evolve and technologies become more complex, it is essential to promote transparent, reliable, and ethical AI. France, with its strong scientific and military heritage, aspires to be the European leader in AI for defense.

However, this technological revolution requires a responsible and controlled approach. We must design our AI systems in alignment with our values and responsibilities, while also meeting operational requirements.

Actively committed to this effort, the Cyber Excellence Cluster is fully engaged in this dynamic and is dedicated to promoting best practices in responsible innovation. This is why the Cyber Excellence Cluster will present an unprecedented publication dedicated to trusted AI in defense, exploring the technical, legal, ethical, operational, and strategic issues. This publication is a call for collective reflection to build a modern and sovereign French defense.

European Cyber Week will be the opportunity to discuss these major themes and to share knowledge to shape the future of national security and defense. Starting on Monday the 17th, a presentation of the work will be delivered in collaboration with AMIAD, followed by a dedicated session on the morning of Tuesday the 18th.
